I want to thank the city of Vancouver’s Public Works Department for its swift and expert response to my residential water main repair this fall. Thanks to technicians Lorne and Jim for their expertise and strenuous efforts, getting wet and muddy and sweaty. And thanks to the six or more city employees who enabled me to finally replace my ancient toilet. I will never begrudge my water bill.
