Boys basketball: La Center 80, Woodland 66

An 8-2 scoring run in the final 30 seconds concluded a 28-point third quarter that gave the Wildcats the lead for good in its nonleague win over the 2A Beavers.

Hunter Ecklund had 16 of his team-best 27 points in the second half for the Wildcats (3-1). Avery Seter added 18.

Isaiah Flanagan led the Beavers with a game-high 30 points, including 20 in the second half.
