Letter: Foreign policy kowtows to dictators

So, U.S. foreign policy depends on who lines President Trump’s pockets? Let’s take a look at the humanitarian crisis in Yemen, caused by the same people who flew planes into the Twin Towers — the same folks who like chopping up Trump’s enemies of the people: journalists.

Are the Saudis now allowed to commit atrocities in Yemen because the crown prince loans Jared a lot of money? How about U.S. policy in the Ukraine? Should those people abandon democratic solidarity because of Trump’s close business ties with Russian President Putin, the man he bows to and calls “a very strong and powerful person”?

This is Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler’s chance to stand up and be a real American.
