BELLEVUE — Smartsheet Inc. last week reported a loss of $15.6 million in its fiscal third quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Bellevue-based company said it had a loss of 15 cents. Losses, adjusted for stock option expense and amortization costs, came to 9 cents per share.
The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 16 cents per share.
The maker of a cloud-based work-management platform posted revenue of $46.9 million in the period, also exceeding Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $44.1 million.
Smartsheet expects full-year results to range from a loss of 44 cents per share to a loss of 42 cents per share, with revenue ranging from $174.6 million to $175.6 million.
