Boys basketball: Skyview 71, Fort Vancouver 58

Jace Chatman scored 18 of his career-high 21 points as the Storm held off visiting Fort Vancouver.

“Give Fort a lot of credit,” Skyview coach Matt Gruhler said. “They brought lots of energy and were resilent.”

James Husband scored a game-high 27 points for the Trappers, who battled back several times from double-digit deficits to get within six points in the second half.

Sergio Hunt added 17 points for Fort and Vincent Bennett had 10.

Skyview’s Alex Schumacher had a double-double with 16 points, 10 rebounds and also had nine assists. Kyle Gruhler had 10 points.
