Girls basketball: Union 65, Hockinson 46

The Titans had 18 assists on 25 of their field goals to hand the Hawks their first loss.

Union first-year coach Gary Mills praised his team’s passing as well as handling Hockinson’s defensive pressure to “get out and get easy baskets.”

Union jumped out to a 22-8 first-quarter lead.

Toryi Midland (13 points), Marina Morningstar (12), and Alexis Raymore (10) finished in double figures to lead Union.
