Orchards — Prairie High School’s Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps cadets participated in numerous events surrounding Veterans Day, including visits to retirement homes, local schools and the annual Veterans Day parade at Fort Vancouver. Some cadets participated in the 13 fold flag ceremony at Prairie High School’s Veterans Day assembly. “I do it to respect my dad who served in the United States Army,” Cadet 1st Lt. Jayden Glover said in a release from Battle Ground Public Schools. “I also do it to respect others who gave their lives or part of themselves to serve their country.
