VANCOUVER — A developer has submitted a pre-application conference request for a seven-building apartment complex on a 5.77-acre site on Northeast 54th Street, a few blocks north of Vancouver Mall.

The proposed complex would consist of five three-story apartment buildings, one two-story building and a community building with leasing offices, a gym, pool and community gathering space. Preliminary site plans show a basketball court and an area designated as a dog park. The three-story buildings would each include 24 units and the two-story building would have two units, for a total of 122 units in the complex.

The pre-application was submitted by Tiland/Schmidt Architects on behalf of property owner MAJ Development Corp. A pre-application conference with the city is scheduled for 10 a.m. Jan. 3.
