PORTLAND — Police say a man was fatally shot near the North Park Blocks in downtown Portland.
Sgt. Chris Burley says officers responded to reports of gunfire Wednesday night and found a victim suffering from life-threatening injuries. The man died at a hospital.
No arrests have been made. Burley says the victim and suspect likely knew each other, and there’s no threat to the public.
An autopsy is planned for Thursday.
