Vancouver police seek missing teen girl

Update: The Vancouver Police Department said Thursday evening Katie Moreno-Garcia returned home safe that afternoon.

Vancouver police are asking for help finding 16-year-old Katie Moreno-Garcia of Vancouver.

She was last seen leaving her east Vancouver home Wednesday. A Vancouver Police Department press release did not say when Moreno-Garcia left the residence.

Police describe Moreno-Garcia as a Hispanic female who is 5 feet, 1 inch tall, weighing 120 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was wearing black jeans, a white T-shirt and a silver necklace with two rings dangling from it.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Moreno-Garcia should call 911.
