Freshmen Kamelai Powell and Jaydia Martin each had double-doubles but the Eagles could not keep up with Wilson of Tacoma in the second half in a first-round game at the 3A bi-district tournament.

Wilson led 27-20 at halftime then pulled away with a 22-10 advantage in third quarter.

“We just ran out of gas in the second quarter,” Bay coach Michael Rainville said.

Powell had 19 points and 10 rebounds, and Martin added 15 points and 10 rebounds.

Bay will face Evergreen in a loser-out game Friday that Rainville hoped would be moved to Vancouver.
