Clark College announces Iris Awards

Vancouver – Clark College announced the four women receiving this year’s Iris Awards, which honor accomplished women in Southwest Washington. The winners are:

  • Julie Bocanegra, vice president of Columbia Credit Union and an Evergreen Public Schools board member.
  • Julianna Marler, chief executive officer of the Port of Vancouver.
  • Nancy Retsinas of the Retsinas Collaborative Law Center.
  • Nan Henriksen, former Camas mayor and chair of the Board of Freeholders that wrote the county’s home-rule charter.

Doors to the awards ceremony open at 5:30 p.m. March 8 at the Gaiser Student Center at Clark’s main campus, 1933 Fort Vancouver Way.

Tickets are on sale through the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce at http://www.vancouverusa.com/events/details/2018-iris-awards-reception-15961. Tickets are $35 per person.
