A crash on southbound Interstate 205 near the Oregon state line stalled — nearly stopped — traffic out of Vancouver on Friday morning.

The crash was reported at 6:35 a.m. at Milepost 26, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

A traffic alert said two left lanes were blocked. Emergency vehicles quickly responded to the scene.

Drivers were delayed for more than an hour. Traffic started picking up shortly after 8 a.m., but traffic officials said the commute would be a crawl as vehicles were backed up all the way to Padden Parkway.
