Letter: Speak up against bullies

By Emanuel Valdovinos, Vancouver

There’s a problem going around the world and it’s bullying.

Have you ever been bullied, or been a bully? This is a serious problem because when students get bullied they don’t want to go to school and then their grades start dropping and, not just that, sometimes people commit suicide because they feel depressed.

Bullies get away with it because the people getting bullied are scared to speak up and so are the people who see the kids getting bullied.

I care about this because everyone in this world is important and the whole world is like a family. Let’s inspire people to stand up to bullies and help the people who are being bullied.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
