Evergreen High School will again become the setting for a fairy-tale fantasy March 10 with Project Cinderella. The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Project Cinderella is a program providing local students access to formal prom attire. Dresses and suits may be purchased for as little as $10. There will also be a photo booth for students to have their pictures taken in their new apparel, corsages and boutonnieres created by the Evergreen floral shop, professional hairdressers from the Vancouver area, plus costumed princesses and princes.

Businesses and individuals are encouraged to make donations of formal attire — both dresses and suits — along with purses, dress shoes, and accessories which may be dropped off at the main office, 14300 N.E. 18th St., of the school during school hours.

The event has been planned by a collaboration of National Honor Society students from Camas, Evergreen, Fort Vancouver, Heritage, Mountain View and Skyview High Schools. Proceeds from the event will benefit Evergreen High School’s Invest Ed, which helps students with school fees.
