Letter: B.G. should ban fireworks

By Ted Hallock, Battle Ground
Published: January 1, 2018, 6:00am

It is past time to outlaw the sale and use of fireworks in Battle Ground. There are many of us who are tired of fireworks going off at any time, day or night. This past Fourth of July it did, indeed, sound like a battleground around here. Some folks were setting off fireworks from a tennis court. The next morning, I spent time cleaning up the tennis court. Among the debris was a parachute with an attached cigarette that had burned down to the filter. Let us stop this madness.
