Bagley Downs — The Free Clinic of Southwest Washington received a $4,000 grant from Columbia Credit Union to help fund X-ray services.
The clinic completed 377 X-rays for low-income, uninsured patients in the most recent fiscal year. The X-rays are read by community radiologists, who partner with the clinic to provide patient care.
“X-ray images help providers diagnose conditions ranging from arthritis to lung cancer and prescribe appropriate courses of treatment,” Barbe West, executive director, said in a release from the organization.
