Letter: Wait and see on tax bill

By Gail Ratliff, Vancouver
Published: January 10, 2018, 6:00am

Well, the bah-humbug has certainly been with us. Everything the Republicans do is bad, and all the Democrats are good. Why don’t we just wait to see how the tax plan will affect us? I imagine it will make some ripples, making for uneasiness, but do we really base every day-to-day activity on that?

Change is inevitable and choosing your life on what the government does is futile. Counting our blessings, maybe voting for Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Battle Ground, won’t be so bad after all.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
