Kade Ramey scored 20 points and Cameron Short added 18 to lift Ridgefield to a nonleague win over the 2B Tigers during Monday’s third annual MLK Jr. Tribute at Lower Columbia College’s Myklebust Gym.

“Those two guys were big,” said Ridgefield coach Jason Buffum, whose team scored a season high in points.

Short had five of the Spudders’ eight 3-pointers in the game. The Tigers, paced by Jordan Purvis’ game-high 22, pulled within one possession after Ridgefield built a six-point lead in the fourth quarter.

Ridgefield resumes 2A GSHL play Wednesday at Mark Morris.
