Boys basketball: Firm Foundation 71, Washington School for the Deaf 51

Daniel Kogler had 18 points and 16 boards and Firm Foundation secured its first league win.

Andrew Rommel notched a near-triple-double with 15 points, nine boards and nine steals for the Eagles.

“It was a real balanced team effort,” Firm Foundation coach John Stevens said.

Cristian Martinez-White led Washington School for the Deaf with 14 points and Taylor Payne added 13.
