Two Green Mountain school board members honored

Woodland — Green Mountain School District board chairman Rick Syring earned the Washington State School Directors’ Association Certification of Appreciation for his 30 years of service on the school board.

In addition to his time on the board, Syring volunteers as the school’s technical director and network administrator.

Outgoing board member Garren Elmer received a certificate of his appreciation for his 16-plus years serving on the board.
