Boys basketball: Stevenson 63, Castle Rock 60

Alec Van Pelt’s only three points were among the most important.

With a minute to go, he hit a 3-pointer that put Stevenson up by three, the amount it would eventually hold onto beat Castle Rock by.

Isaac Hoidal finished with a game-high 20 points and grabbed nine rebounds for Stevenson.Lincoln Krog added 16 points, five assists and five steals.

Maclain Hall’s free throws in the waning seconds sealed the game.

Castle Rock was led by Connor Edwards’ 16 points.
