Woodland — Woodland High School’s Interact Club and other student volunteers spent some time in December buying clothes, food and gifts for more than 100 families in the city as part of the Woodland Rotary Club’s annual Christmas Giving Program. Students were given donated funds from the Rotary to buy the items, which went to the homeless as well as families and students in need throughout the district. The Interact Club stems from the local Rotary branch, and is open to students ages 12-18 who are looking to develop leadership skills. High school and middle school students interested in joining the Interact Club can contact Principal John Shoup at shoupj@woodlandschools.org or stop by the main office of Woodland High School for more information.
