Gardening with Allen Wilson: Summer brings insect, disease problems

Attached are some pictures of little green bugs on my roses. Some of the rose leaves also have black spots on them. I am also concerned about mottled yellow leaves on my azaleas and rhododendrons. Should I spray something for these problems?
