Clark Public Utilities: Judy Chipman, a candidate for Clark Public Utilities Board of Commissioners District 1, is planning two campaign events this week. She will be meeting with voters from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the Merwin Room of the Battle Ground Community Center, 912 E. Main St., Battle Ground. Chipman also plans to buy coffee for anyone who wants to meet with her and discuss her candidacy from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Lava Java, 2 S. 56th Place, Suite 102, Ridgefield.
