Cascade Park Kiwanis Club hosts barbecue for foster kids

Five Corners — Cascade Park Kiwanis Club members hosted the club’s annual barbecue for foster children, serving food to more then 420 kids, families and volunteers at Crossroads Community Church on June 21. Key Club members from Mountain View High School, HeLa High School, Union High School and Evergreen High School helped serve at the event, which was co-sponsored by Crossroads and the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services. Attendees also enjoyed therapy animals, a bouncy house, craft stations and a guest clown.
