Letter: Demand to NATO is suspicious

Do I have this right? Our current president is demanding that NATO countries double their military spending from 2 to 4 percent of their Gross National Product? And that this money should be used to buy military equipment only from U.S. companies? Hmmm. Did he come up with this all by himself? Or was there maybe a bit of input from, uh, let’s see — maybe Grumman or Boeing or Lockheed, among others? What a sweet deal! Maybe for the infamous Trump Foundation, too? Just wondering.
