Three Days of Aloha, hosted by the Ke Kukui Foundation, is the biggest Hawaiian cultural festival in the Northwest, with arts workshops, hula dancers, classic hapa haole music, and a 5K fun run. The main Ho’ike and Hawaiian Festival — featuring all-day entertainment, food vendors, arts and crafts vendors, kids activities, and raffles — takes place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. July 28 in Esther Short Park. 2. Purple craze
Just can’t get enough of that lovely purple stuff? Come out to the historic Heisen House Vineyards, 28005 N.E. 172nd Ave., Battle Ground, for its annual Lavender Festival from noon to 6 p.m. July 28. There will be lavender-themed crafts, cooking tips, fresh lavender and dried lavender by the bunch, as well as kids’ games and live music. Stroll among vendors selling local art and garden products — or enjoy a glass of wine in the tasting room. 3. Float your boat
Find your dream boat at the Tidewater Cove Boat Show, a free event open to the public where visitors can see new and used vessels for sale. Vendors will be on-site selling nautical merchandise and boat-related items, and food will be available to purchase. The boat show takes place from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. July 27 and 28 and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 29 at the Tidewater Cove Marina, 5811 S.E. Columbia Way, Vancouver.
4. See, taste, hear, enjoy
There is plenty to savor at the three-day Satisfy Your Senses art show and sale, showcasing original works by local artists, along with wine, appetizers, live music, and a raffle for an original oil painting. Feel good about your purchases, because proceeds benefit the Fort Vancouver Regional Library Foundation.
