“Open Expanses,” through July. Mitch Baird’s solo art show explores the beauty and peace that can be found in nature’s open spaces, mostly using traditions from 19th-century artists. “Best Coast,” through June 23. This multicity art tour featuring work from Mindie Gum-Grivell is coming to an end in her hometown after the tour traversed Portland in May. “Mirrors” is a dual show from Chas Martin and Melissa Monroe through June. Martin presents a combination of 2D and 3D images inspired by petroglyphs. Monroe describes her artwork as a vulnerable, emotional display which becomes a mirror into who you are the closer you look. The CAVE Art Gallery, 108 E. Evergreen Blvd., Vancouver. “My Color Journey,” through June. Artist Catherine Snyder will feature her prize-winning pastels. The opening reception from 5 to 8 p.m. June 1 includes a showcase by keyboardist Rob Lewis. Jo Noble, Hilarie Couture, and Wayne Jiang will showcase their art at Vancouver City Hall through Aug. 3. Noble is a quilter and textile artist. Mosaic Arts Alliance will host its first all-photography exhibit showcasing nine of its members’ work through June 17.
