Letter: Health care is under attack

The Affordable Care Act is once again being attacked and moves further toward being diminished in effectiveness by the back-door actions of the Trump administration. In Texas, the Justice Department — where 15 percent of the population have no health insurance — has agreed with a challenge to ACA where the pre-existing condition protection does not need to be enforced. People with pre-existing conditions can once again be refused insurance coverage. This is just one more example of President Trump “Making America Great Again” and sticking it to the little guy! Hopefully voters will throw the “bums” out who can be removed in the midterm elections.
