RAINIER — Authorities say human skeletal remains were found Sunday in a wooded area outside of Rainier.
KING-TV reports someone riding an ATV found the remains around 11 a.m. Sunday.
The Thurston County Sheriff’s Office says officials determined the remains to be human and were at the location for some time.
The site of the remains is near the 11000 block of State Route 507.
No information about the person’s identity has been released.
