Deputies have identified the woman killed in a crash Tuesday in front of Columbia River High School as 86-year-old Marion Klitza of Vancouver.

Klitza was killed the morning of March 6 after her vehicle collided with another, which was pulling out of the school’s parking lot, according to the sheriff’s office.

Her husband, 86-year-old Franz Klitza, was riding with her and was hurt.

The sheriff’s office did not name the driver in the other car, a 17-year-old student. She was hospitalized in critical condition that day, as was Franz Klitza, who was listed in satisfactory condition at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center on Wednesday afternoon.

The sheriff’s office said it didn’t have any more information on the investigation, which was ongoing.
