Letter: Trump not fit for presidency

By Carl S. Scheuffele, Vancouver
Published: March 12, 2018, 6:00am

I thought President Richard Nixon would go down in history as the worst president ever. He lied, cheated and stole. Doesn’t that sound familiar? Yes! President Donald Trump has stolen the trophy from Nixon. He’s guilty of all those, many times over, plus allegations of sexual harassment.

With all these men stepping down for minor sexual infractions, why is no news agency screaming about Trump? Many women have accused him of sexual harassment and now we find out about his affair with Stormy Daniels, a porn star who was paid to keep quiet. So besides being a sexist, a racist, a habitual liar and unfit for office, we can add adulterer.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
