LA CENTER — La Center United will host a benefit concert to raise money for the organization’s new teen center.

The concert will feature Harvest Gold, a Neil Young tribute band, and Fortunate Son, a tribute band to Creedence Clearwater Revival, and runs from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Old Liberty Theater, 115 N. Main Ave., Ridgefield. Tickets are $10 online and $12 at the door, if they’re still available day of the show. More information, including a link to purchase tickets, can be found at www.facebook.com/lacenterunited.

The teen center — known as “The Icebox,” because it’s a place to chill, according to a release — runs after school until 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays at La Center Evangelical Church, 111 E. Fifth St., La Center. The teen center has games, crafts and a lounge.
