Washougal — Kristine Grindy will be the new business manager for Washougal School District, as the board approved the hiring at its May 8 meeting. She will officially start July 1.
She currently works for Educational Service District 112 as the business manager of the Stevenson-Carson School District. Grindy, a Washougal resident, has held the same position for various other smaller school districts in the state through ESD 112.
She is taking over for Larry Mayfield, who is moving to the Wenatchee School District, where he will serve as the executive director of business and finance.
