Letter: Support Tanisha Harris in 17th

By Celia Louderback, Vancouver
Published: May 15, 2018, 6:00am

Clark County needs Tanisha Harris — she’ll lead with a mission to solve our most pressing issues. Our most vulnerable citizens — children — have been and will be front and center for her. Clark County has a growing population of homeless children. Federal Housing Authority offers subsidies to those who need housing the most, but Harris’ opponent, Vickie Kraft (17th Legislative District), voted against allowing this help.

Harris has received these and other awards for her contributions to our community:

• Leadership Clark County graduate;

• YWCA Val Joshua Racial Justice Award;

• Gen. George C. Marshall Public Leadership Award.

Vote for Harris and our community.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
