The Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office on Friday identified the three men killed in a car crash near East Evergreen Boulevard and Grove Street on May 11.

Vancouver residents Tabo A. Nameta, 24; Akiki Kintin, 27; and Kenson Cheipot, 27, died from blunt force injuries to the head, spine and torso, respectively, according to the medical examiner. Their deaths were ruled an accident.

A fourth person who was reported injured in the crash has not been identified by Vancouver police. That person’s condition is unknown.

Responding firefighters and police found a black BMW sedan with two men trapped inside and two on the roadway about 10:20 p.m. The car had crashed into a patio with chairs and tables outside of the Igloo Restaurant.

Nameta and Kintin were pronounced dead at the scene. Cheipot was taken to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries.

Vancouver police reported speed was a factor in the crash, but the exact cause has not been released.

No one else was injured.
