Investigators say an Amboy man accused of possessing hundreds of images of child pornography and sharing images on a blog site may have hands-on victims.

Jordan A. Moorman, 25, made a first appearance Friday in Clark County Superior Court on suspicion of 10 counts of first-degree possessing depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct and three counts of first-degree dealing in depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

While conducting their investigation, detectives with the Vancouver Police Department’s Digital Evidence Cybercrime Unit discovered a pair of what appeared to be little girl’s underwear, with blood on them, in Moorman’s bedroom. Moorman said they belonged to a former girlfriend, according to an affidavit of probable cause.

The police investigation began July 7, 2016, after the cybercrime unit received a tip submitted by the blog site Tumblr, which had detected suspected child pornography uploaded by one of its users. It appeared the online activity occurred April 6, 2016, near La Center, the affidavit states.

The Tumblr account and email address associated with it, and an internet protocol, or IP, address were later traced back to Moorman, court records say.

A search warrant was served Thursday at Moorman’s residence, where a cellphone and other devices were seized.

Moorman reportedly admitted to investigators that the Tumblr account and email belonged to him. He said he had re-posted the images of child pornography and believed there was child pornography on his cellphone, a computer in his room and a thumb drive. Moorman also said he had deleted child pornography from other devices, according to court documents.

He denied searching directly for child pornography but said he downloaded it when he came across it. The victims in the child pornography ranged in age from infant to 14, the affidavit states.

On Friday, Judge Daniel Stahnke set bail at $75,000. Moorman will be arraigned June 8.
