Police have identified the man killed in a road rage incident near Lake Sacajawea late Thursday night and revealed other details that led to his death.
Nathan Hardesty, 29, of Longview was run over by a vehicle on N.E. Nichols Boulevard at 6:46 p.m. and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a Longview police press release issued Friday evening.
No charges or arrests have been made pending further investigation.
Police identified the driver of the car that killed Hardesty as 28-year-old Samantha Osterburg of Kelso. A 26-year-old Longview resident named Harley Krause was in the car with her at the time.
Interviews with witnesses and those involved show Hardesty and Krause were involved in a drug deal in Kelso earlier in the evening.
