The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory Sunday night for the eastern Portland-Vancouver area.

Forecasters said the winds would be between 20 to 30 mph, with gusts of up to 50 mph, east of Interstate 205.

The only affected Clark County community should be Washougal, according to the weather service.

Windy weather is predicted to last until mid-Monday, but the advisory remains in effect until 6 p.m.

“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” the advisory says.

Clark Public Utilities listed no outages as of 7 a.m.

Clear and cool weather is forecasted until Tuesday night. Then, there is a 40 percent chance of rain sometime after 10 p.m. But the rain should stick around only for a day or two.
