Realtors foundation awards grant money to local nonprofits

Arnada — The Clark County Realtors Foundation, the nonprofit arm of the Clark County Association of Realtors, announced the recipients of its 2018 community grants program. The foundation received 38 grant requests from nonprofits committed to fostering, developing and encouraging the health, education and social welfare of children, families and the elderly in Clark County. The foundation awarded $20,000 in grants to: Caring Closet, Bridge The Gap, Children’s Center, Columbia River Mental Health Foundation, Columbia Springs, Food With Friends, Healthy Kids Running Series, Mom’s Place Maternity, NICU Families NW, Office Moms & Dads, Partner In Careers, Southwest Washington Elder Abuse Prevention Coalition and Tilikum, the Southwest Washington Center of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Funds for the program came primarily from two fundraisers, a golf tournament in June and a bowling tournament in October.
