The Columbian’s front page story, “Anti-LGBT group targets B.G. sex ed” (Nov. 16), sounded more like the press release of the LGBT advocacy group rather than an attempt to report the news.
On the one hand, there are the good guys, promoting “scientifically and medically accurate sex education curriculum.” On the other hand, the bad guys, “far-right, anti-LGBT, transphobic and homophobic.”
I would suggest reading a recently published online article, “Where Angels Fear to Tread: The Fraud of Transgenderism,” www.thepublicdiscourse.com/2018/11/42698/.
The subtitle says it all: “People who seek to change their sex through hormone treatment and surgery may suffer grave medical and psychological consequences, numerous medical experts have warned.”
Public Discourse is the journal of the Witherspoon Institute in Princeton, N.J., which seeks to enhance public understanding of the moral foundations of free societies. They believe that “truth exists, is knowable and should inform our politics and culture.”
