The Clark Regional Wastewater District says it completed a $2.9 million sewer replacement project under Northeast 78th Street on time and on budget.

The project included installation of about 2,500 lineal feet of new gravity sewers in 78th Street, from Northwest 12th Avenue east to the 78th Street Heritage Farm.

The new pipe replaced old sewer lines, improving reliability, reducing maintenance and increasing capacity, according to the district.

Customer bills paid for the work.
