Girls basketball: Woodland 72, Kalama 34

The Beavers jumped out to a 20-4 first-quarter lead and cruised to a nonleague win in its first game of the season on the road.

Audrey Adams was one of four Beavers in double figures with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Payten Foster added 12 points and Carleigh Risley and Kaily Christensen added 10 each. Christensen also had seven rebounds, three assists and three steals.

Nicole Guthrie had a team-high 14 rebounds.
