Three Hawks scored in double-figures to help them grind out a win over Heritage on Friday night.

But it wasn’t pretty. The opposite, rather, according to coach Damon Roche.

“It was an ugly win,” he said. “We had to grind it out.”

Emma Dietel and Addie Chappelle each had 11 points. Roche pointed to Chappelle, a freshman, who he said provided a spark off the bench.

“It was her activity tonight” that set her apart, Roche said.

Katie Peneueta had 17 points and Bri Gould added 15 to lead Heritage.
