Frequently I read what candidates have received in contributions and see that incumbents generally have an edge. I noticed this was true with Rep. Brandon Vick, R-Felida; a donor was pleased with the work Vick did for him and his cause. I, on the other hand, haven’t given Vick so much as a cup of coffee and I’ve been pleased with the work he’s done in response to the needs I’ve outlined. This speaks to integrity.
Vick is a good listener, a quiet thinker, a gentleman, and not afraid to help others whose causes aren’t well-funded. We need more like him in office; he gets my vote.
