Beaverton Police say three different vehicles struck a pedestrian who was killed while attempting to cross Tualatin Valley Highway early Monday morning. Only the first vehicle stopped.

Uriel Santiago-Sarabia, 24, from unincorporated Washington County, died at the scene.

According to police, Santiago-Sarabia was crossing the 16000 block of the highway, from north to south, just before 3:30 a.m. Monday. The driver of a westbound Cadillac Escalade struck him in the right lane and stopped to render aid, police said. Santiago-Sarabia was then hit by two additional vehicles, which did not stop and continued west on TV Highway.

The driver of the Escalade stayed at the scene, was not arrested or issued any citations, and is cooperating with the investigation, police said.

Beaverton Police Department is seeking information regarding the drivers of the two addition vehicles who struck Santiago-Sarabia. One vehicle was described as a large truck and the other a sedan.

Anyone with information regarding the two additional vehicles can call Beaverton Police at 503-629-0111.
