Northeast Hazel Dell — Vancouver investment professionals were part of a national volunteer event called D.A. Davidson Day on Sept. 13, when more than 1,350 associates across the country volunteered. In Vancouver, the company’s employees spent their day at Share’s offices helping with the nonprofit’s backpack program. Bags are filled with 5 to 10 pounds of nonperishable, easy-to-prepare food. About $4.50 will fill a bag for one child, and 1,850 packs are distributed to each of the 90 elementary, middle and high schools participating in the program. This was the Vancouver location’s second day of volunteering event.
