Nominees for Week 6 prep football player of the week

Voting, sponsored by Athletes Corner, continues through Tuesday

Here are the nominees for The Columbian prep football player of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Oct. 5.

Voting will continue until 8 p.m. Tuesday, with results announced in Wednesday’s edition of The Columbian.

To avoid vote manipulation, voting is restricted by IP address. That means people voting while connected to a public WIFI access may be unable vote. We suggest voting be done by private internet access or through your cellular provider.

JONATHAN DOMINGOS, HOCKINSON: Domingos had 15 first-half tackles and had a touchdown run in a win over Mark Morris.

TYLER FLANAGAN, WOODLAND:  Flanagan rushed for 237 yards and five touchdowns and passed for 302 and one TD in a win over Montesano.

JALYNNEE, MCGEE, SKYVIEW: McGee had a 77-yard punt return for a touchdown, a 75-yard TD run and two interceptions against Union.

GARRETT MOEN, MOUNTAIN VIEW: Moen passed for 291 yards and five touchdowns and rushed for 100 and one TD in a win over Prairie.

CARTER MORSE, HUDSON’S BAY: Morse passed for 203 yards and two touchdowns and had a 32-yard TD run filling in at QB in a win over Fort Vancouver.
