Union, Hockinson hold down top spots in latest AP state football rankings

Union and Hockinson maintained their No. 1 rankings in the Week 6 Washington Associated Press high school football rankings released Wednesday.

In Class 4A, Union (6-0) received nine of 11 first-place votes and two second-place votes for a total of 108 points. Mount Si received the other two first-place votes, eight second-place votes and a third-place vote for 100 points to be ranked second. Camas (3-3) dropped out of the top 10.

In Class 2A, Hockinson (6-0) remained the unanimous No. 1 pick, receiving all 10 first-place votes. Woodland (5-1) entered the top 10 for the first time at No. 10.

Mountain View (5-1) remained at No. 5 in the 3A poll.
